Magnificent views - the best of the best, contemporary house built in the 90's. Rated 3rd Best USA Beach in 2023 > South Shore Long Island. 1-hour, 10-minutes by train, car or private van to ferry dock from New York City, or 15 minutes from Islip airport.
Then it is just a 25-minute relaxing ferry boat ride to Fire Island. Less than a ten-minute walk to the house once arriving to the island. Car free island, only bicycles. A safe place for children.
Food store, general store, liquor store, restaurant, ice cream stand & pizza is only a 5-minute bicycle ride away. Children's playground,6-minute walking distance. Your right on the beach, use your imagination. (1-Week Minimum from Saturday-to-Saturday low-season, 2-week minimum Summer Season) However, occasionally there is a 1-week rental in the Summer Season between longer rentals.

Security cash deposit of $1000. on the day of arrival.
1. Initial non-refundable deposit $1000. per week prior to April-30.
2. After April 30, a non-refundable 50-percent of the rental.
3. 30-days prior to the rental, a non-refundable full payment of rental.

A wonderful house in a wonderful place!
My family and I have come to Lonelyville every summer for many years but this was our first time in this extraordinary house. From the moment we arrived, Stephen made us feel welcome and cared for. The house is delightfully light and airy and very clean with plenty of room for myself, my husband and our two teenage daughters. From the bike rides, beach walks, wave jumping, sailing, and dinners with friends in the neighborhood, our vacation could not have gone better. Plus we could not stop staring out the windows at the extraordinary view of the ocean in front of us. Nothing beats that morning cup of coffee out on the deck. We will be back!

Wonderful Location ! Wonderful Vacation!
This was our first time vacationing on Fire Island, what a lovely surprise. This quaint area is a relaxing escape from the cars and crowds of the outside world.
This homes location offers endless views of the ocean front, along with the convenience of being right on the beach. A wrap around porch deliciously beckons to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine while watching the surf roll in.
We enjoyed bike rides, walks along the beach to a neighboring town, wonderful restaurants and just relaxing on a beautiful ocean beach.
The house itself is bright, open and airy with up to date appliances and conveniences that make the house most inviting and comfortable. Bicycles and beach paraphernalia are provided.
The location is convenient to the ferry, shops, restaurants and a bay beach for swimming with children.

This was our first time vacationing on Fire Island, and it was a lovely surprise. The area is quaint and a relaxing escape from the world of cars and crowds. It was an opportunity to enjoy a slower pace, biking for groceries, walking along the beach to a neighboring town and just sitting on a patio listening to the crash of the waves.
The homes magnificent location right on the ocean front offers incredible endless views of the beach and ocean, along with the convenience of being right on the beach. A wonderful wrap around patio to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and afternoon glass of wine - while watching the surf - was delicious.
The house itself is sunny, open and airy with up to date appliances and conveniences-including bicycles and beach paraphernalia - for both adults and children. It is very well kept and comfortable.
The location is convenient to the ferry and town of Fair Harbor for restaurant, groceries and other small shops and a bay beach for swimming with children.

Breathtaking views
Fire Island is a place lost in time. Imagine a place without automobiles and the deer roaming free on the island not afraid of humans. This very comfortable house, it is well situated – right on the edge of a sand dune facing the ocean with 180-degree unobstructed views. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat.
