Two-bedroom cottage on the protected wetlands of Wading River, steps from a quiet bay beach on Long Island Sound. Vaulted wood ceilings, mid-century furnishings, and wetland views from nearly every window. Two queen bedrooms, one full bath. Fire pit, picnic area, and fast Wi-Fi. Monthly stays. The space
This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage features vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, an open-plan living and dining area, and views across the protected wetlands from nearly every room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dining table and breakfast bar seating. The living room has mid-century furnishings including Eames-style seating, a large sectional, and a wall-mounted TV.
Both bedrooms have queen beds and ceiling fans. The primary bedroom includes a small work desk. The bathroom has been recently updated with subway tile and a walk-in shower.
In warmer months, window units and ceiling fans keep the space comfortable. In winter, baseboard and gas wall heat provide warmth.
Outside, the yard opens to unobstructed wetland views with Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and a picnic table. The bay beach is directly across the street. Fast Wi-Fi and multiple work-friendly spots throughout. Well-suited for remote work or an extended creative retreat.

- For stays over 21 days, any extra utility costs beyond the initial charged amount are the guest's responsibility. - For reservations of 29 nights or more, a refundable deposit will be collected prior to arrival. Our team will reach out for details upon booking.

Wading River sits at the western edge of the North Fork, with easy access to vineyards, farm stands, and state parks. Nearby:
- The Barn of Wading River (1.2 mi), Lewin Farms (1.8 mi), Bakewicz Farms (2.3 mi), Wildwood State Park (3.2 mi), The Shoppes at East Wind (3.6 mi), La Plage restaurant, Brekky cafe.

Cancellation Policy:
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before arrival receive a full refund. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before arrival receive a 50% refund. Not applicable for HVMB guests. Guest Insurance: A guest insurance policy is included with your booking. You will be asked to sign a Guest Rental Agreement. This covers incidental property damage during your stay and does not cover trip cancellation. If anything happens during your stay, let us know.

The Artist Cottage was the perfect place to rest and decompress.
It was private while also within walking distance to the beach. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I can’t wait to stay again!

We had a really nice stay here.
The house had plenty of room, very bright and open, while still feeling cozy and relaxed. Being on the marsh provided lots birds watching for the family! The town itself is nice and quiet, which we preferred. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area!

We absolutely loved our stay!!!
Waking up and seeing the beautiful cranes in the marsh was such a delight. Opening all the windows in the main living space brings in fresh ocean air and sounds of waves. Plus, only a 5 minute walk from one of the prettiest beaches along the sound. We will definitely stay here again when we return!

The bird song was lovely and we saw deer in the morning. The ac was helpful and the place inside was so fun and colorful. We felt cozy and immediately at home. Plenty of fun towels for the beach and soft ones for home. Thank you!

Lovely beach house!
We booked this as a last-minute getaway, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is sun-drenched, across the street from the beach with a great set-up for a couple or small family. The place has comfortable furniture, a well-equipped kitchen, and top-quality linens and bath essentials. The decor was great, and there were lots of books, magazines, and games readily available for use. The back of the house faces a large saltmarsh and is great for spotting wildlife or watching sunsets. We sensed a bit of a strong smell from the watery surroundings when we first arrived, but it wasn't really noticeable after a while. The great location with private parking in walking distance to the beach is a big plus!
