Welcome to High Peaks Rentals. We are proud to offer multiple 4-6 bedroom luxury log homes in the Whiteface and Lake Placid area, with over 300+ 5 star reviews. This spacious home sits up on the hill on twenty three acres to provide wonderful views of Ebenezer Mountain and the Sentinel Mountain Range. The view can be enjoyed from the 2,000 square foot wrap around deck and covered porch or from inside the home on all three levels through the abundant glass. The property has 550 feet of frontage on the East Branch of the Ausable River. Walk, hike, or cross country ski on the secluded and quiet property. More extensive hiking can be found in the surrounding High Peaks Region. We are six miles from Whiteface Mountain Ski area so you can be on the slopes in minutes. Lake Placid and the Olympic Village are just a nineteen mile ride where you can find many shops, restaurants, and activities. Rivers, lakes, and streams can be found in every direction to enjoy boating, fishing, canoeing, or swimming. Back at the house there is plenty of room to relax with over 4200 sq. feet of living space without a neighbor in sight. The home features a great room on the main floor with twenty six foot high ceilings and a full glass front to let in the view.

A center fireplace with a large stone chimney is the only divide between the great room, dining room, kitchen, and foyer to provide a spacious gathering area with plenty of seating. The kitchen has green shaker style cabinets with granite counter tops and stainless appliances and is stocked with all the cookware and settings you need. Also located on the main floor is the master bedroom suite with a king size bed and a walk in closet which has a laundry set. The master bath has a whirlpool tub and a walk in 8' x 4' shower with dual shower heads. There is also a half bath on the main floor. Upstairs there are a total of three bedrooms - two bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with a twin over twin bunk with a twin trundle as well as a twin over full bunk. The second floor also has two full baths and a large loft area with a queen futon.

On the lower level there is a fifth bedroom with a king bed and a sixth bedroom with a twin over full bunk with a full trundle. There is also another full bath, a separate second laundry set, and a very large rec room with a pullout sofa. For the little ones, we also provide a crib with a mattress, a high chair, and a pack 'n play. The lower floor also has a 6 person sauna and walkout to a 7 person hot tub with views! This home has zoned heating and individually controlled cooling in all bedrooms and common areas. All bedrooms and the great room also have ceiling fans.  Additionally, the main floor master suite is handicap accessible. Lastly, there is also an automatic whole-house backup generator on premises so that mother nature doesn't interfere with your stay!

Minimum Stay Requirements:

Winter months of December, January, February and March - 3 Night Weekend minimums and 2 Night Mid-Week minimums. MLK and Presidents Day are 4 night minimums. Some exceptions apply and shorter stays are sometimes possible, depending on availability, so please submit an inquiry.

Late Spring months starting May and through last weekend of June have 3 Night Weekend minimums. Memorial Day is a 4 night minimum.

Summer months of July and August have 7 Night minimums, depending on the week and availability. Friday to Friday or Sunday to Sunday stays are preferred. Some exceptions apply and shorter stays are sometimes possible, depending on availability, so please submit an inquiry. Ironman Lake Placid event is a 5 night minimum.

Fall months of September and October - 3 Night Weekend minimums and 2 Night Mid-Week minimums. Some exceptions apply and shorter stays are sometimes possible, depending on availability, so please submit an inquiry. Labor Day, Columbus Day and Thanksgiving have 4 night minimums.

Xmas and NYE stays have 5 and 7 night minimums.  Some exceptions apply and shorter stays are sometimes possible, depending on availability, so please submit an inquiry.

Please note there is a mandatory $200 Pet Fee. Pets have to be discussed and pre-approved by the owner.

Family getaway

We enjoyed the spacious home immensely. We had a separate bedroom for each couple/family member and plenty of bathrooms for all.. Home had everything we needed. Enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and outside campfire. Owner was quick to respond to texts.

The cabin had everything we needed plus more. Very spacious with plenty of Room inside and outside.

Excellent. Helped to text with Owner on a few minor questions.

Amazing property!

We had a great time! House was beautiful! Very well stocked with everything! Clean and a ton of room for everyone! Gene was excellent getting right back to me when I had questions! We got married in an intimate ceremony and the grounds are beautiful! Highly recommend this property!

I wish we could have quarantined there!! :)

Nice home on a BEAUTIFUL piece of land. Plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and pans, I appreciated that. It was nice to be able to shut the door downstairs and block out some noise.
The driveway is long and can get quite muddy during mud season. We were grateful for 4x4 vehicles during our stay. GPS struggled to find the place, so pulling everything up and getting clear directions before you head out is recommended. Gene was a great communicator and I knew I could reach out if I needed to. No need though. I loved waking up to the view out of those windows.

Pretty good place for good company

Our company had a great time @ E.B.Lodge. The place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The dining area is very roomy
, kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are excellent.
The communication with the owner was super easy.
Conclusion: Very good and stylish place to stay, with everything you need. Absolutely recommend it!

Great property with ample room for a large party

We and our kids had a great time. Kids loved the game room, ping pong and hot tub. A lot of room to relax and hang out after skiing and a large property for pets as well. Highly recommend if staying in Lake Placid/ Whiteface Mountain area.

Great Stay

Great House. Just as advertised. Beds were comfy and the place was super clean. 2 fridges was huge.

10 mins to the mountain. Back home into the hot tub with a cocktail. Great place for kids with the basement set up.

Gene was extremely accomodating. If your looking for a spot to stay check it out. Its worth it.

An "Amazing", much needed vacation!

My Family and Friends had an amazing time. We are all first responders and we always need time to recharge our batteries. Gene is an amazing property owner who is very responsive and like always able to provide us a much needed vacation. The property was very clean and private. I would highly reccomend Gene and ALL his properties for a vacation.

Amazing!

The property was large enough to hold our entire family for a weekend celebrating our son and daughter in laws wedding! The accommodations were exactly as advertised and more! There was plenty of extras there for us to use even a pile of firewood to burn on the evening of check in. It was as though they thought of everything.
